The fact that the Gospel contained in the covenant is based solely on the oath of God separates Christianity from every other religion on earth… The Christian life is not approached with gritted teeth summoning determination and willpower to obey God and show Him our love for Him. The sincere folk who try to do so… see the Christian life based on their oath, instead of resting in the oath of God.
