Grace Upon Grace

26 Dec

And so the Word became flesh and took a place among us for a time; and we saw his glory–such glory as is given to an only son by his father–saw it to be true and full of grace… From his full measure we have all been given grace on grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and the true way of life are ours through Jesus Christ.

I love this Scripture (John 1:16-17) in the Amplified Version….”For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift. For while the Law was given through Moses, grace (unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

    Hi Paul

I so enjoy your posts. You are such a blessing!!!

I have started to read The Gospel in Ten Words on my beloved Kindle – I’m three words in. Wow!

I have been a Christian as long as I can remember, He captured my heart when I was little but oh the joy in recent years as I have discovered His love for me and this amazing thing called “grace”.

I would like to buy this book to give to friends. Do I buy direct from you or how do I go about it?
